FFFF my entry for the summer contest over at
The song theme for this was the song 'You Can Do Better Than Me, but I Can't Do Better Than You' by Death Cab for Cutie.

Basically the whole them/idea for this is the fact that maybe Nick treats Ellis badly because he does care about the kid, but Ellis is just so damn innocent, and Nick has done a lot of bad things in his life. It won't stop him from trying his damndest to keep the little spitfuck alive, even at the cost of his own life. (even if it means punching Hunters in the face, apparently.)
